Couperosis is a condition in which dilated blood vessels of the skin manifest as tiny red lines on the face and is called couperosis in cosmetology and telangiectasias in dermatology. Rosacea affects a large part of the face, about 1/3, and is characteristic of fine textured skin. In this condition, the capillaries become damaged and react strongly to external irritations.
